Horizon Glass Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Winnipeg team. You will work with our office staff at Winnipeg and Brandon to maintain supplier relationships and ensure material, project requirements, and schedules stay on track.

The role requires 3+ years in construction and project management, proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Google Workspace, and a valid Class 5 license. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 per year, with benefits and on-site work in Winnipeg, MB.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Aluminum & Glazing (asset).
• 3+ years in Project Management (asset).
• 3+ years in construction industry (mandatory).
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Google Workspace.
• Experience using QuickBooks to create purchase orders (asset).
• Experience ordering products for commercial projects.
• Experience coordinating shop drawings with GC/Architect.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, vendors, architects/drafters, general contractors and subcontractors to keep material, project requirements, deadlines and schedules on track.
• Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Coordinate shop drawings with general contractors and architects to ensure accuracy and alignment.

Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Project Manager. You will be working closely with our office staff at both Winnipeg and Brandon locations. Building & maintaining a professional and positive relationship with all suppliers, vendors, architects/drafters, general contractors and subcontractors to ensure that all material, project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• 3+ year experience in the Aluminum & Glazing industry (_asset_)
• 3+ year experience in Project Management (asset)
• 3+ year experience in the construction industry _(mandatory_)
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel & Google Workspace
• Experience using QuickBooks to create purchase orders (_asset_)
• Ordering products for Commercial projects
• Executing shop drawings processes with General Contractor/Architect
• Creative thinking and problem solving skills
• Time management skills with attention to detail
• Complete projects within specified deadlines
• Current Class 5 Driver?s License and some form of personal transportation (mandatory)
• Project budget management experience (asset)
• Must currently reside in Canada
