Job description

Pay Range

$130,000 - $160,000 CAD annually

Position Summary

As Compositing Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the management of the compositing team on your assigned project(s), the quality of the compositing work and the overview of color continuity on a given show. Working closely with the VFX Supervisor, CG Supervisor, and VFX Producer, you’ll communicate and delegate the compositing needs of the show to the team and will be the voice of the compositing crew with respect to working conditions and pipeline environment. You’ll manage shot progress, as well as contribute on the box to shot work where possible.

Main Duties
  • Work closely with the CG team to ensure proper flow and execution of CG elements for compositing.
  • Work closely with the Show Set-Up Supervisor, Pipeline team and Production for setup and quality control of the 2D image processing pipeline of the project from ingestion to delivery.
  • Reports to Production to update status and manage risk to help execute the creative vision of the project on time and on budget.
