  • Partner with Heads of Department and Department Managers to balance client needs, creative quality, capacity, and delivery requirements.
  • Lead and support production teams across the full project lifecycle.
  • Escalate budget, delivery, and client relationship risks when needed.
  • Contribute to bidding, forecasting, and strategic planning where required.
What you bring
  • Extensive experience leading VFX or animation productions from award through final delivery.
  • A proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships on complex productions.
  • Strong commercial awareness, financial accountability, and forecasting experience.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary production teams.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to balance creative excellence with practical delivery needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Confidence making strategic decisions in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience with production-tracking tools such as ShotGrid or equivalent.

  • Experience supporting bids, resource planning, utilization forecasting, or studio-level planning.

You are a collaborative, highly organized production leader who builds trust with clients and internal teams alike. You know how to protect the work, the team, and the commercial success of a project—without losing sight of the creative ambition behind it.
