Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an SEO Strategist, Veterinary, to own search for a veterinary client base across multi-location practices. You will guide the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved.

You will manage technical SEO, keyword strategy, and on‑page optimization with writers and AI. You will also handle AI search visibility, links, local search, and quarterly client roadmaps in GA4 and Search Console.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes you’ve done yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for veterinary or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI producing drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
