Job summary

Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital in West Kelowna, BC is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our AAHA-accredited team. You will assist veterinarians and technicians, support client care, and help prepare medications in a high-standard care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care, using low-stress handling techniques.
• Supporting the client care team and occasionally helping at reception as needed.
• Preparing medications and supplies for clients (under DVM or RVT direction).
• Providing attentive care to hospitalized patients, including feeding, walking, and comfort.
• Handling, cleaning, and sterilizing surgical equipment.
• Helping keep the hospital running smoothly with general cleaning, restocking, and maintenance duties.
