Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive small-animal care including wellness, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and nutrition guidance.
• Perform routine soft-tissue surgeries and anesthesia; undertake advanced procedures if eligible.
• Provide dental care including exams, cleanings, radiographs; extractions as qualified.
• Utilize in-house diagnostics (lab, radiology) and other modalities (endoscopy, laser therapy).
• Triage urgent cases during clinic hours; maintain accurate medical records and hospital protocols.
• Build trusted client relationships through clear communication and compassionate care.
• Collaborate with support team and mentor colleagues; contribute to clinical quality initiatives.

The Hospital

This full-service companion animal hospital serves a South Edmonton community with a strong reputation for client communication and compassionate care. The team-based culture pairs veterinarians with experienced support staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient outcomes. The hospital offers a broad mix of services, including wellness care, dentistry, general surgery, diagnostics, endoscopy, laser therapy, nutrition counseling, pharmacy services, and basic hospitalization. Clinicians are supported by onsite diagnostic tools such as an in-house laboratory and routine radiology, along with established anesthesia, multimodal pain management, and an isolation ward with infection-control protocols. The Role

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
