Job summary

Delaney Veterinary Services seeks a seasoned equine veterinarian to join a six-veterinarian team at our Strathcona County facility in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The role offers a varied caseload including family horses and elite competitors, with in-house emergencies and surgeries, and shared on-call duties to support work-life balance.

You will engage in daily rounds, mentor visiting students and interns, and lead efforts to build client relationships and practice growth within a premier equine

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine.
• Must have completed NEB certification steps.
• Eligible for licensure in Alberta.

Responsibilities

Delaney Veterinary Services is central and northern Alberta’s premier equine referral facility, offering ambulatory, medical, and surgical services with the highest standard of compassionate care.

Our thoughtfully-designed hospital includes a surgical suite with two recovery rooms, three exam rooms, intensive care barn, advanced endoscopy, digital radiography, ultrasonography, lameness diagnostics, and shockwave therapy. Our newly constructed indoor lameness center with hard and soft ground and a lunging pen gives you the space and resources you need to evaluate cases and provide care year-round.
