VCA Canada Ltd. invites a Board-Certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our Calgary team, offering a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on excellent patient care.

You will manage complex cases across GI, GU, and respiratory areas, engage in teaching interns and final-year students, and contribute to a multidisciplinary specialty team for advanced diagnostics and therapies.

Qualifications

• Completed an Internal Medicine Residency and is or will be Board-certified.
• Commitment to collaborative, team-based medicine.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with colleagues, pet parents, and the veterinary community.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with opportunities to support veterinarians in our mentorship program and supervise externship students.
• Passion for teaching, coaching, and guiding the next generation of veterinary professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse and complex internal medicine caseload with high clinical standards.
• Provide teaching and supervision for interns and final-year veterinary students.
• Participate in clinical and didactic teaching within a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with radiology, oncology, surgery, and other specialties to optimize patient care.
