Canada West Veterinary Specialists in Vancouver, BC seeks a third Board-certified or Residency Trained Internist to join our busy Internal Medicine department. The role includes excellent clinical caseload, advanced imaging, and collaboration with an experienced team.

We offer a highly competitive base salary ($190,000–$225,000 CAD per year) plus production incentive, four weeks vacation, extended health & dental, licensing dues, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Canada West Veterinary Specialists is seeking a third Board-certified or Residency Trained Internist

Operational since 1997, we are an 18,000 sq. ft., private multi-specialty referral veterinary practice and 24-hour emergency facility in Canada. Our practice has boarded-specialists in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery and Critical Care with added services of rehabilitation therapy and in-house reference lab.

Our Internal medicine department is very busy and has a well-established caseload and is supported by an excellent team of technicians and assistants along with a department specific client communications liaison. Our hospital has advanced imaging equipment including CT and MRI and flexible & rigid scopes.

Preference will be given to candidates who are ACVIM or ECVIM board-certified Internal medicine specialist, however individuals who have completed internal medicine residency training will also be considered. British Columbia is one of the rare provinces in North America allowing board certified European Specialists to work under a "Specialty Private Practice" license without ECFVG certification/equivalence requirement.

Education and Credentials:

• Doctorate of Veterinarian Medicine or equivalent degree
• Candidates must be board-certified (ACVIM or ECVIM) or residency trained (and eligible to sit for board examination) in Internal Medicine.

• Base salary of $190,000 CDN - $225,000 per annum plus production incentive
