Wood Canada Ltd. is seeking a Vessel Control Systems Operator (Control Room Operator) to join its offshore Operations team focused on oil and gas petrochemical industries.

The role is based offshore Newfoundland and Labrador aboard the Terra Nova FPSO, with a 21 days on/21 days off rotation and 12-hour shifts. You will operate in confined spaces and at heights, in noisy conditions and extreme temperatures, with site-specific medical and safety requirements.

Wood is recruiting a Vessel Control Systems Operator (Control Room Operator) to join its Operations team focusing on the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This opportunity is offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, working on a regular rotation.

The Role

• Location: Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador
• Site / Office based: Terra Nova FPSO
• Hours of work: 12 hours per day
• Rotation / work pattern: 21 day on - 21 day off rotation
• Required: Site specific medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Unionized position: Rates follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement

You will be working in confined spaces and/or at heights, as well as noisy conditions. Work may be indoors or outdoors, and at extreme temperatures.
