Job summary

OPENLANE in Brampton, Ontario seeks a dedicated Vehicle Inspection Specialist to perform vehicle inspections at lessee sites, dealerships, or customer locations. You will also conduct inventory audits and drive inspections as needed.

You will use mobile inspection tools, OBD scanners, and paint meters; travel daily with reliable transportation. A strong work ethic and a full, valid Class 5 driver's license are required.

We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Inspection Specialist who currently lives in Brampton, Ontario or surrounding areas to work as part of our inspection solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection process on various vehicles either at a lessee’s home or place of business or at a dealership. You will also perform inventory audits as needed. Whether you’re a seasoned vet, new to the industry but willing to learn, or just a car enthusiast, this job is for you!

Our Inspectors Are

Observant. No detail gets past you, you are the last line of defense when it comes to how we present our vehicles to our clients.

Responsible for the inspection of vehicles for signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repair, or structural damage. You will also complete road tests as needed.

Knowledgeable. You understand how to use technology such as mobile inspection tools, OBD Scanners, paint meters, and other industry leading hardware and software.

Safe. We have a high regard for safety, you should too. This role will require you to perform your work in all types of weather conditions.

Must Have’s

• A strong work ethic, we can teach you the rest.


• Motor vehicle/criminal background checks for all positions.


• Full and valid Class 5 drivers license.


• A willingness to travel daily and reliable transportation.


• Willingness to work in an outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.

Nice to Have’s

• Experience working around vehicles and within the automotive industry.

Compensation

Range of Hourly: $24.00 - $24.00 CAD (Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.)
