Job summary

OPENLANE seeks a Vehicle Inspection Specialist to join our inspection solutions team at ADESA Vehicle Logistics Centers. You will perform on-site inspections of vehicles, identifying wear, damage, and prior repairs, and conduct road tests as needed.

You will use mobile inspection tools, OBD scanners, paint meters, and other industry hardware. Safety and precision are essential, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required for on-site inspections.
• Willingness to work in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.
• Experience in or around the automotive industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site vehicle inspections at ADESA Vehicle Logistics Centers.
• Identify wear, tear, neglect, damage, prior repairs, or structural issues; document findings.
• Conduct road tests when required to assess vehicle condition.

We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Inspection Specialist to work as part of our inspection solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site inspection process on various vehicles at our ADESA Vehicle Logistics Centers. Whether you’re a seasoned vet, new to the industry but willing to learn, or just a car enthusiast, this job is for you!

Our Inspectors Are

Observant. No detail gets past you, you are the last line of defense when it comes to how we present our vehicles to our clients. Responsible for the inspection of vehicles for signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repair, or structural damage. You will also complete road tests as needed. Knowledgeable. You understand how to use technology such as mobile inspection tools, OBD Scanners, paint meters, and other industry leading hardware and software. Safe. We have a high regard for safety, you should too. This role will require you to perform your work in all types of weather conditions.

Compensation

Range of Hourly: $23.00 - $23.00 CAD (Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.) Bonus Range Target Bonus Range: $0.00 - $750.00 CAD Quarterly
