Qualifications

• Experience in commercial vehicle body repair or similar environment.
• Ability to carry out body repairs, panel replacement and fabrication.
• Competent in MIG welding and use of workshop tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage workloads effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of safe working practices within a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and determine repair requirements.
• Identify components to repair or replace.
• Record repair work and parts required.
• Repair bodies, panels and structural components.
• Fabricate replacement sections and panels as needed.
• Perform welding and fabrication with approved methods.
• Prepare repaired surfaces for refinishing and assist with painting.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
