About Ripple Effect Studios

Ripple Effect, part of Battlefield Studios alongside Criterion, DICE, and Motive, focuses on defining the future of the Battlefield franchise. We are committed to quality and innovation, with studios in Los Angeles and Vancouver. We are looking for a Vehicles Artist - ExDev to oversee external vehicle assets' quality and consistency, guiding external developers to meet our standards. The role offers on-site and hybrid options in Vancouver.

What You'll Do

  1. Review and provide feedback on externally created vehicle assets and cosmetics.
  2. Create briefs and organize packages for external production.
  3. Finalize assets by making visual and technical adjustments.
  4. Integrate assets into the game, ensuring they meet visual and performance standards.
  5. Create content for seasonal releases.
  6. Coordinate vendor communication with internal teams.
  7. Support external art training and documentation.

What We Are Looking For

  1. At least 3 years of experience with realistic vehicle art in game titles, including work with external partners.
  2. Knowledge of hard surface asset workflows, modeling, and PBR texturing.
  3. Experience guiding or working with outsource artists.
  4. Ability to match and communicate art styles to external artists.

Compensation and Benefits

In British Columbia, the pay range is CAD 73,200 - 101,700, depending on location and experience. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, parental leave, health/dental/vision coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, and potential bonuses/equity.
