Job summary

Landsea Tours seeks a General Manager to lead its Vancouver operation, uniting people, operations, guest experience and business performance. This role is hands-on, with room to influence decisions, build a strong leadership team and partner with ownership behind you.

You’ll supervise tour operations, reservations, staffing, fleet and safety, while steering budgets, performance and growth in Vancouver. A true operator who thrives on complexity will fit.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership responsibility in an operational, logistics, hospitality, transportation or service business.
• Experience leading managers and teams, not only individual contributors.
• Responsibility for a reasonably complex day-to-day operation with multiple moving parts.
• Experience with staffing, scheduling, resource planning or workforce operations.
• Accountability for budgets, financial performance or business results.
• Experience improving systems, processes or operational performance.
• Comfort working with technology and operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day Vancouver operation and ensure moving pieces work together.
• Lead and develop Landsea’s management team and be visible across the operation.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and workforce planning.
• Manage budgets, resources and operational priorities.
• Monitor business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain safety, compliance and vendor relationships in Vancouver.
