Job summary

Residence Inn Toronto Downtown, part of the Marriott family, is seeking a valet attendant in Toronto, Ontario. The role involves welcoming guests, parking and retrieving vehicles, and assisting guests with luggage while ensuring high standards of service.

The position offers opportunities for growth within Easton’s Group of Hotels, with a focus on guest satisfaction and collaboration in a dynamic hospitality team.

Responsibilities

• Drive, park and return guests’ vehicles from arrival to designated area and to departure in line with Residence Inn by Marriott standards and regulations.
• Achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction by providing quality service and maintaining performance standards.
• Resolve guest complaints, compliments and suggestions in a professional manner.
• Carry luggage for guest checking in or out; communicate with colleagues about guest arrival or service needs.
• Handle guest vehicles so they remain as left (radio, seat, etc.).
• Greet guests arriving by vehicle and promote valet parking or direct to appropriate public parking as needed.
• Document any damage on incoming vehicles and complete all required documentation.

Revery is looking for someone passionate about working in the Hospitality Industry.

What will you be doing?

Objective:

• To provide a sense of arrival and departure consistent with Residence Inn by Marriott standards and hotel policies, while exceeding the guest’s expectations.

Responsibilities:

• To drive, park and return guests’ vehicles from point of arrival to designated area and to point of departure in a manner consistent with Residence Inn by Marriott standards and regulations.
• To achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction by providing quality service and maintaining performance standards.
• To resolve guest complaints, compliments and suggestions in a professional manner.
• Voluntarily carry luggage for guest checking in or out according to standards. Proactively communicate with internal colleagues to advise of guest arrival or particular service needs, issues or concerns as appropriate.
• To handle guest vehicles in such a manner that the guest will always find it as it was left (radio, seat, etc.).
• Greets all guests arriving by vehicle, and promotes valet parking as only hotel related parking option or clearly directs guest to appropriate public parking service if they prefer
• To document any damage on in-coming vehicles.
• To complete all documentation required.
• To keep vehicle keys secure.
• Ensure safety of guests and guests belongings.
• To retrieve guest luggage from guestrooms as required.
• Maintain positive internal and external relationships, familiarity with local venues, attractions, restaurants and events.
• To maintain a clean ground as necessary outside the front door.
• To provide guests with claim tickets for every item stored.
