Job summary

Hard Rock Ottawa Hotel & Casino is seeking a Valet Attendant to welcome guests and provide professional valet parking services. You will safely park and retrieve vehicles, assist with traffic flow, and ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience while upholding safety and hospitality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.

OVERVIEW

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing a welcoming and professional first impression to casino guests by delivering exceptional valet parking services. This position safely parks and retrieves guest vehicles, assists with traffic flow in designated areas, and ensures a seamless arrival and departure experience. The Valet Attendant maintains a high level of customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail while handling guest vehicles with care and adhering to all safety, security, and company policies. Working in a fast-paced environment, the Valet Attendant contributes to creating a positive guest experience and supports the overall hospitality standards of the casino.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greeting customers and maintaining a professional appearance

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds or more.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times when you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
