Job summary

KEEN Creative in Edmonton is seeking a Graphic Designer with a strong UX/UI focus to shape brand, digital, web, campaign, and print work—from concept and wireframes to polished, production-ready design. You’ll collaborate with strategists, developers, marketers, and clients to translate insights into thoughtful creative and meaningful user experiences.

This is an in-person role at our head office in Edmonton; remote work is not available.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience as Graphic Designer or UX/UI Designer.
  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, UX/UI Design, or related field.
  • Strong portfolio across branding, digital, UX/UI, website, campaign, and print design.
  • Experience designing websites from user flows and wireframes through to high-fidelity UI.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, responsive design, accessibility, and usability.

The Role

As a Graphic Designer with a strong UX/UI focus at KEEN, you’ll work across brand, digital, web, campaign, and print projects—from early concepts and wireframes through to polished, production-ready work. You’ll help shape how brands look, feel, and work, bringing together strong visual design with an understanding of user experience, usability, hierarchy, and how people interact with digital experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with strategists, developers, marketers, and clients to turn strategy and insights into thoughtful, effective creative. No two days are the same, but the constant is a supportive team that has your back.

This role is an in-person position at our head office in Edmonton, Alberta. We are NOT accepting applicants for remote work.

What You Bring
  • Minimum 5 years experience working as Graphic Designer, UX/UI Designer or comparible
  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, UX/UI Design, or related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, digital, UX/UI, website, campaign, and print design
  • Experience designing websites from user flows and wireframes through to high-fidelity UI
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, responsive design, accessibility, and usability
  • Experience with website UX audits and identifying opportunities to improve digital experiences
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience developing brands and visual systems, including logos, typography, colour, grids, and guidelines
  • Client-facing experience, including presenting concepts, participating in workshops, and incorporating feedback
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet agreed-upon deadlines
  • A collaborative, curious, self-starter mindset
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with Webflow or other visual website-building platforms
  • Familiarity with design systems and component-based UI
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Copywriting, including headlines, calls to action, and microcopy
  • Motion graphics or video editing experience
