Job description

Job Description:

1. 5-7 years solid experience with a good breadth of types of projects in terms of UI UX and graphic design.
2. Understand client requirements and user needs and translate them into user-friendly and visually appealing designs.
3. Create wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and style guides for web and mobile applications.
4. Design graphics, logos, icons, illustrations, and other visual elements for branding and marketing purposes.
5. Work closely with developers to ensure design consistency and quality across platforms and devices.
6. Develop a professional and productive relationship with staff.
7. Keep management informed of any and all issues that could have a customer impact.
8. Work to continually improve the processes associated with your assigned functions.

Job Requirements:

1. University Degree or College Diploma in Design, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience in the field).
2. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant certificates and training in UX & Graphic Design.
3. Preference will be given to applicants with current training and skill-sets.
4. Completion of all or some of the CFA, CSC or other related designations is a plus.
5. 5-7 years of overall UX & Graphic Design experience.
6. Knowledge of the investment fund industry systems, operations, technical and business processes (an asset, but not required).
7. Proven experience as a UX and Graphic Designer or similar role.
8. Portfolio of UX and graphic design projects for web and mobile applications.
9. Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
10. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
11. Familiarity with UX design methodologies, principles, and processes.
12. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
13. Good communication and inter-personal skills.
14. Ability to work with minimal supervision to prioritize and manage work.
15. Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
16. Strong attention to detail.
17. Effective verbal and written communications.
