Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced UX Designer to create intuitive, accessible digital experiences for internal and external users in Toronto. You will work with product, business, and technology teams to understand user needs and translate them into high-quality design solutions.

The role requires a strong portfolio, hands-on design tooling, and ability to collaborate in an Agile environment. The base salary in Toronto ranges CAD 110k–120k per year plus benefits, with a flexible hybrid policy

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in UX, product design, interaction design, or related discipline.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered digital product design.
  • Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Knowledge of interaction design, usability, information architecture, and accessibility.
  • Experience working in Agile product-development environments.
  • Strong visual, analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Preferred: enterprise, financial-services, or data-intensive apps.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and design systems.
  • Experience conducting quantitative or qualitative user research.
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, interviews, journey mapping, and usability analysis.
  • Define user personas, workflows, information architecture, and experience strategies.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Facilitate design workshops and present recommendations to stakeholders.

Role Overview

We are seeking an UX Designer to create intuitive, accessible, and effective digital experiences for internal and external users. The successful candidate will work with product, business, and technology teams to understand user needs and translate them into high-quality design solutions.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).
