Job summary

BeachHead Inc. seeks a UX Design Systems SME-Banking to design, maintain, and evolve native mobile components for iOS and Android, supporting a key wealth management project.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, specifically with native mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
• Expertise in designing detailed component behaviors, states, and edge cases.
• Proficiency in Figma with extensive experience in component libraries, design tokens, and scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of native iOS and Android design patterns, interaction models, and platform guidelines.
• Effective communication skills for explaining design rationale and documentation.
• Knowledge of WCAG standards and mobile accessibility best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with development teams to ensure designs are feasible and accurately executed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to AI-ready assets by structuring documentation, naming conventions, and reusable patterns supporting AI workflows.

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a UX Design Systems SME-Banking. In this position, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and evolving native mobile components and patterns for iOS and Android platforms, supporting a key wealth management project. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency, accessibility, and scalability while contributing to AI-ready design system initiatives.

Pay rate range (CAD): $76.70/hr – $92.04/hr

• Design, build, and maintain reusable native mobile components, patterns, and interaction models for iOS and Android.
