Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Mobile Design Systems Engineer to advance a scalable mobile design system. You will transform Figma designs into production-ready components, collaborate with UX and accessibility teams, and drive reusable component adoption across products.

You will develop and maintain mobile components, build documentation, and contribute to the evolution of the design system and developer experience in a hybrid Toronto-based role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Strong experience with React Native and/or native mobile development for iOS and Android.
• Experience building reusable component libraries, design systems, or shared UI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and mobile UI development best practices.
• Experience implementing accessibility standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Total compensationWe regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $81,500 – 95,500 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
