EOCP in Williams Lake is seeking a Utility Operator 2 to join the Municipal Services team. You will perform manual labour and maintenance across Water and Waste divisions, ensuring safe operation of water distribution, sanitary sewer and storm water systems.
Qualifications include Grade XII, BC Class 3 with Air Endorsement, and EOCP Level II certifications in Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection, with WWC Level I considered. Shift work and overtime may be required.

TITLE: Utility Operator 2 – FT

CURRENT RATE OF PAY: $41.18 plus benefits
HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week, shift work and overtime as required including evenings/weekends
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The incumbent is responsible for carrying out instructions as required within the Water/ Waste Division of the Municipal Services Department.
SUPERVISION:
The incumbent is responsible to the Director of Municipal Services under the direction of the Manager of Municipal Services and/or designate.
