Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking an experienced Utilities Superintendent to lead the installation of gas, electrical, and telecommunications utilities in greenfield and brownfield projects across North America. The role emphasizes on-site supervision, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and strict safety and quality controls.

You will develop and manage project schedules, allocate resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in utilities installation.
• Experience in managing civil earthworks projects.
• Knowledge of soil types, compaction, and grading processes.
• Experience with trenching methods and best practices.
• Familiar with the operation and maintenance of excavation and trenching equipment.
• Proven experience in managing the installation of gas, electrical, and telecommunications utilities.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and develop schedules.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the installation of gas, electrical, and telecommunications utilities in greenfield and brownfield environments.
• Coordinate and supervise all on-site activities to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and resource allocations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients for seamless execution.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for quality control and adherence to specs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
