Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an experienced Power Line Construction Superintendent in Alberta to lead day-to-day field operations, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery and budget adherence across transmission projects.

You will work with Ledcor Utilities' direct workforce and subcontractors, providing guidance to the field team, coordinating materials, equipment and trades, and driving safe work practices on high-pressure projects.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Power Line Technician certification is required.
• 10+ years of transmission power line construction experience.
• 5+ years of experience on industrial facilities projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, contracts, costs, and budgets.
• Clean driver’s abstract and successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates leadership in health, safety and environmental protection on the project
• Promotes compliance with PSSP and Ledcor HS&E standards on site
• Ensures projects are built to approved plans with high quality standards
• Manages material quantities and ensures equipment and trades are available
• Assumes leadership and provides guidance to field team
• Supervises sub-contractors to achieve project deliverables
