Job summary

Dare Foods Limited in Milton, Ontario, invites applications for the Maintenance - Utilities and Maintenance Tech role. This 40-hour-per-week position (Mon-Fri 6:30am-2:30pm) focuses on safe, reliable operation of steam generators, HVAC, chillers, and related plant utilities in our candy manufacturing site.

Requires a college/technical diploma and hands-on experience with steam systems, condensate return, air systems, and water treatment.

Qualifications

• Valid diploma from a college or technical school.
• Hands-on experience with steam generators, steam distribution systems, condensate return, compressed air systems, and HVAC equipment.
• Understanding and commitment to a CI (Continuous Improvement) culture.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of steam generators and related distribution systems.
• Daily/weekly water quality testing and system adjustments.
• Perform start-up/shutdown procedures safely and maintain logs.
