Job Title: Senior UX Designer

Millenilink is supporting a government client seeking a Senior UX Designer to support multiple product teams across various applications. This is a 10.5-month contract with a hybrid setup, with possible negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centered design, experience in public sector environments, and excellent communication skills across diverse teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to improve digital experiences.
2. Lead user research activities, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
3. Translate user feedback and research findings into actionable design solutions.
4. Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure feasible and effective UI/UX decisions.
5. Contribute to information architecture, blueprinting, and documentation to support development teams.
6. Advocate for accessibility, usability, and best design practices across internal product teams.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of UX design experience, preferably with some experience in public sector environments.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (required) and Balsamiq or similar tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively between users and technical teams.
• Experience with user stories, persona development, ideation sessions, and design thinking methodologies.
• Strong communication skills—able to present ideas clearly, justify design decisions, and handle feedback.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in evolving environments.
