Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a Software Product Designer to deliver user-centric digital experiences across a new software suite. You will partner with product, marketing, and development teams to create personas, journeys, and prototypes, and to validate designs through user research.

The role supports a flexible hybrid working arrangement with a base salary in the CAD 101,000 to 118,000 range and a discretionary performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a College degree, preferably in a Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Design, Kinesiology or HCI related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in Software Application Design.
• Experience in brand development or marketing and communications is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-centric product design for a new suite of software applications.
• Develop target user personas, maps and journeys and prototypes.
• Prototype and conduct user research to validate designs and identify gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design decisions and feedback.
