Job summary

Midland Transport Limited is seeking a professional Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver. Base locations include Concord, Cambridge and Brampton, Ontario.

You’ll run long-haul routes across Ontario, the US Eastern Seaboard, and the Maritimes while adhering to company procedures and safety standards. The role features a Saturday start with approximately five days per run, plus a generous benefits package including healthcare, RRSP matching, paid vacation, and ongoing training and advancement

Qualifications

  • High School or GED required.
  • Class 1 driver’s license with minimum 4 years of safe tractor-trailer driving experience in North America.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
  • FAST card eligibility.
  • Able to cross border with US.
  • Familiarity with satellite systems.
  • Excellent communication and reliability.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs with proper equipment.
  • Flexibility to work Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Run Linehaul between the Maritimes, United States eastern seaboard, and Ontario/Quebec.
  • Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
  • Offload varying shipment weight and handle freight equipment safely.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and customers.
  • Operate tractor-trailer following safety regulations and company rules.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections; oversee truck operations.
  • Report incidents, accidents, injuries or damages promptly.
  • Willing to work linehaul legs into the United States (e.g., NY/NJ).

Midland Transport Limitedis currently seekingprofessional Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver. The Driver can be based out of Concord, Cambridge and Brampton, Ontario.

As a Linehaul Driver, you'll run longhaul routes from Ontario, U.S. Eastern Seaboard, and through the Maritimes back through Ontario/Quebec. while consistently following company procedures and maintaining high safety standards.

Schedule: Run starts Saturday, takes around five days to complete.
