Overview

This facility is seeking a Urology Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Start Date: ASAP

Shifts: Day 8; Weekend; On Call

Pay Rate: $294.88 - $319.20

Responsibilities

• Provide Urology medical care in an inpatient setting.
• Manage a schedule that generally includes Monday to Thursday (8-5; days/times may vary) and Friday (7:30-17:00; days/times may vary).
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a range of urologic conditions and perform appropriate procedures as listed below.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Urology.
• Active California Medical License.
• Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic.
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days.

Practice Details

• Practice Setting: Inpatient.
• Types of Cases: General Adult Urology, Advanced Adult Endoscopic, Laparoscopic Surgeries, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy, Ureteroscopy, Radical Cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, Radical prostatectomy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Transrectal Ultrasound, Renal and Bladder Ultrasound with Biopsy.
• Preferred: Fertility Work-up, Penile Prosthesis, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy.

Credentialing & Systems

• EMR: Epic.
• Licensure: CA license and DEA license required.
