Job summary

SE Design and Consulting Inc. is seeking an Urban Planner to support our Development Planning team in Cold Lake. You will lead ASPs, coordinate subdivision design, and prepare planning reports with input from engineering and policy analyses.

The role requires excellent technical writing, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Office location is Cold Lake with consistent client interaction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional land use planning experience, focusing on subdivision and ASPs.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Membership or eligibility with a planning institute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of ASPs and outline plans, integrating policy, analysis, and engineering inputs.
• Coordinate subdivision design from concept to approval.
• Prepare planning reports and documentation for municipal submissions.
• Liaise with municipal staff and regulatory agencies throughout approval processes.
• Prepare engagement plans and lead stakeholder meetings.
