Talent Compass partners with a prominent Alberta municipality to recruit a Senior Planner for the Planning and Development Department. You will provide leadership, mentor development permitting and compliance staff, and lead complex development applications from inquiry to approval.

You will monitor legislation and bylaws, contribute to growth and smart urban design, and present findings to Council and various boards.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field.
• APPI/CIP membership or eligibility considered an asset.
• 5 years of progressively responsible professional planning experience.

Mansioni

• Supervise and mentor development permitting and compliance staff, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Lead review of complex development applications from inquiry to issuance.
• Contribute to growth and urban design initiatives for Beaumont.
