Job summary

Western University in London, Ontario is seeking a Director of Development, University-Wide to lead fundraising across the campus and oversee a centralized team of fundraising professionals. You will drive discovery, cultivation, solicitation, recognition and stewardship of major gifts to support the university’s mission.

You will partner with senior academic and administrative leaders to design and implement innovative fundraising strategies, raise significant revenue, and ensure progress

Qualifications

• University degree required; Honours Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or Public Relations preferred.
• CFRE designation would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in discovery, cultivation, solicitation, recognition and stewardship of a donor portfolio for the university.
• Design, develop, implement, evaluate and manage fundraising strategies to meet University-Wide priorities.
• Manage and develop a team of centralized fundraising professionals and provide oversight to senior leadership.
