Hydro One Co-op Student Opportunity - Toronto (Temporary, 16 Months)

We are currently seeking a co-op student to join the Project Cost Controls and Risk Performance team, reporting to the Manager, Cost Control and Risk Performance. The primary duties include:

1. Creating reports and analyzing historical risk trends based on the risk register database for Transmission Capital Projects.
2. Compiling project risk assumption databases.
3. Assisting with developing Change Order reports to support new Change Management processes.
4. Managing AR tracking sheets.
5. Preparing reports on project buildouts in SAP and conducting ad-hoc due diligence reviews.
6. Supporting data compilation for major variances and Change Orders.
7. Assisting with other departmental initiatives as assigned.

During the term, students will learn technical skills such as:

• Using SAP (Project Systems and BIBW)
• PowerApps and Power BI
• Practical management accounting
• Risk analysis
• Excel skills enhancement

Selection Criteria:

• Third-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Engineering, Computer, Mathematics) or Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration, or related program.
• Intermediate Excel skills required.
• Intermediate communication skills required.
• Knowledge of Power Apps and SAP is a plus.
• Courses in computer science or statistics are considered advantageous.
