University Co-Op Student - Project Controls - Cost Control Analyst - 16 Months - Fall 2025

Reporting to the Manager of Cost Control and Risk Performance, the primary duties of the co-op student in the Project Cost Controls and Risk Performance team will be to assist the manager by:

1. Creating reports and analyzing historical risk trends based on the risk register database for Transmission Capital Projects.
2. Assisting with the development of Change Order reports to support new Change Management processes.
3. Managing AR tracking sheets.
4. Preparing reports on project buildouts in SAP and providing ad-hoc due diligence reviews.
5. Supporting the compilation of data to analyze major variances and related Change Orders.
6. Assisting with other departmental initiatives as assigned.

During their term, students can expect to learn technical skills such as:

1. How to use SAP (mainly, Project Systems and BIBW).
2. PowerApps and Power BI.
3. Practical management accounting.

Selection Criteria:

Third-year students pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Engineering, Computer, Mathematics) or Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration, or related programs.

Knowledge of Power Apps and SAP is considered a plus.

Courses in computer science or statistics will also be considered advantageous.
