Job summary

WRHN at Midtown (formerly Grand River Hospital, KW Campus) is seeking a Unit Assistant – Childbirth to support housekeeping, patient transfers and supplies, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

You will assist nursing staff, work various shifts (days, nights, evenings, weekends), and contribute to efficient, compassionate care in our maternity services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial/housekeeping, preferably in an institutional environment.
• OR Attendant or MDRD course is preferred.
• Must be able to perform duties efficiently under limited supervision.
• Good understanding of aseptic/sterile techniques.
• Good attendance record.

Position Requirements
