This position involves profitable underwriting of contractor’s pollution/professional liability coverage for contractors and environmental consultants, as well as pollution liability for site-specific risks.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Manage and underwrite a profitable book of renewal and new business following AXA XL guidelines.
• Cultivate key broker relationships.
• Review submissions according to authorized guidelines.
• Price, quote, and bind business.
• Review completed engineering surveys.
• Advocate and cross-sell other AXA XL product lines to grow the business.
• Participate in volunteer or special projects as needed.
• Represent the company at internal/external functions and industry events.
• Cross-sell across business units to maximize deployment of AXA XL’s capital.
• Report to the Underwriting Manager, Environmental.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Moderate underwriting experience preferred.
• Experience in environmental consulting is an asset.
