Job summary

Silver Lake Resources is seeking a Safety Operator on site in Ontario, Canada. You will perform pre-operational and post-operational checks, operate machinery safely and efficiently, and adhere to SOPs and supervisor instructions to maintain a safe work environment.

You will support dewatering tasks, apply lock-out/tag-out procedures, and collaborate with site teams to identify hazards and ensure timely, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Perform pre-operational and post-operational checks.

• Respect signage and follow SOPs and supervisor instructions.
• Operate dewatering sumps/pumps when requested.
• Lock-out and tag-out per regulations and policy.

• Ensure safe work systems/procedures are always practised and adhered to ensuring duties are performed in a manner that minimises risk to self, employees, and contractors.
• Always maintain exemplary standard of housekeeping, safe work, incident/accident reporting & active involvement in safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
• Abide by and proactively comply with Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and systems, as well as all relevant legislation.
• Understand and familiarise oneself with site Emergency evacuation procedures.
