Job summary
Alamos Gold Inc. Young-Davidson is actively seeking a Mobile Maintenance Superintendent to lead the safe, reliable maintenance of the mine's mobile equipment fleet.
You will report to the Maintenance Manager and supervise a team of Maintenance Supervisors, supporting 80–100 employees and contractors in a dynamic underground operation. You will drive maintenance excellence through collaboration with Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, OEMs, and contractors, while fostering safety, accountability,
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive maintenance experience in underground mining or heavy industrial operations.
- Demonstrated success leading maintenance supervisors and large teams in a safety-focused environment.
- Knowledge of underground mobile mining equipment, planned maintenance practices, and asset reliability.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Maintenance Supervisors and foster a engaged workforce.
- Ensure maintenance activities are safe and compliant with policies and regulations.
- Develop and execute maintenance strategies to maximize reliability and fleet performance.
- Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, OEMs and contractors to balance maintenance with production.
- Lead continuous improvement and asset management, monitor KPIs and budgets.
