Underground Mining Engineer Consultant

Location: Sudbury, ON, Canada

SRK Consulting is an independent, international consulting practice, providing globally integrated consulting services to the mining and metals sector. We are seeking an Underground Mining Engineer Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and consulting advice on exploration and mining projects for North American and international clients.
• Contribute to technical studies, due diligence, operational assistance, and project management.
• Develop and maintain a client network in collaboration with the Ontario mining team.
• Continuously develop technical skills and industry knowledge to support the SRK Ontario team.

Essential Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in mining engineering or related field.
• Up to 3 years of practical operational or mining experience.
• High proficiency in Deswik, Studio 5DP, or related software.
• Knowledge of mineral project aspects to identify risks and opportunities.
• Demonstrated project and self-management skills.
• Ability to generate, implement, and complete multiple work assignments independently or as part of a team.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

This role involves working in multidisciplinary teams and may require local and international travel.
