As a Consulting Integrity Optimization Engineer, you are responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products that effectively manage fired equipment integrity, including activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing consultative services related to the integrity optimization management of fired equipment, including performance and reliability optimization, fitness for service and remaining life assessment, risk assessment, and failure analysis.
  • Providing technical and training consulting services with respect to CorrectIR application and implementation, including management of assigned client licenses.
  • Providing leadership and mentoring to junior Assessment Engineers.
  • Engaging in and contributing to business development within Process Inspection and other teams as requested.
  • Seeking out technical knowledge independently to establish industry credibility and participate in industry conferences, training, and events.
  • Maintaining proficiency in other advanced engineering and process service roles and supporting projects across teams.
  • Supporting products and development of software applications related to fired equipment integrity management (e.g., LifeQuest Heater, LifeQuest Reformer, CorrectIR) in collaboration with the software team.
Qualifications for success:
  • B.S. degree in Engineering or applied sciences, with 5 years experience in the process industry (preferred).
  • Knowledge of recognized design codes and standards (API, ASME).
  • Professional communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Decision-making ability with immediate or long-term impact on process optimization.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 33%.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with software applications and adaptability to proprietary systems.
  • Customer-focused with attention to detail and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to comply with safety requirements, including respirator use and facial hair policies.
  • Experience in programming languages (preferred).
