Job summary

The Mosaic Company is seeking a Mining Engineer or Geoscience Co-Op/Intern for Summer 2027 at Mosaic Potash Esterhazy K3, an underground mine 90 km south of Yorkton, SK. The role focuses on project design, data collection, and process improvements under seasoned professionals.

Responsibilities include shadowing, underground data collection, mine planning assistance, and safety participation. Candidates should be pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree and be prepared for full-time study-integrated

Qualifications

• Third year+ by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor’s in Mining/Geological Engineering or Geoscience (Civil/Mechanical considered).
• 72% or higher GPA.
• Ability to work in industrial mining environment.
• 1–2 years of volunteering/related work preferred.
• Previous internship or co-op experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shadow professionals to learn practices and contribute input.
• Travel underground to inspect and collect data.
• Assist Mine Ventilation or Mine Planning duties as needed.
• Support geophysical surveys and data collection.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with staff at all levels and prepare data for sharing across departments.
