Job summary

Dumas Contracting Inc. is seeking a Development Miner (Jumbo Operator) for the Timmins West project. You will safely operate jumbo drills to advance underground development while adhering to strict safety and site standards.

The role requires experience with jumbo drilling, an Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification, and the ability to work in demanding, confined spaces. Training and career development are provided with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating jumbo drills underground.
• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.
• Knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.
• Able to work in physically demanding, confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate jumbo drills to drill development headings per line and grade specs.
• Install ground support (bolts and mesh) as required.
• Follow safety protocols and site environmental regulations.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors and colleagues to meet targets.
• Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by leadership.
