Job summary

Redpath Canada Limited is seeking a seasoned Supervisor to oversee a mining crew on a day-to-day basis at a remote Northern Quebec site. You will coordinate tasks, ensure safety, and meet instructions from the Site Superintendent.

The role requires 10+ years hard rock experience with 5 years in supervision, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Camp life on site with 14/14 rotation and 12-hour shifts; health, dental, life insurance, and pension benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years hard rock experience with 5 years in supervisory roles.
• Post-Secondary education in mining or related discipline.
• Ontario Underground Core/First Aid certifications or provincial equivalents.
• Valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the activities of the work crew to ensure safety and production.
• Carry out directives from management and sign log books daily.
• Assist in work scheduling and planning; monitor changes in conditions.
• Ensure equipment is in good repair and coordinate maintenance with mechanics.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate safety and production concerns.
• Record unsafe conditions or required repairs in the log book.
• Promote company vision and values; communicate with Mine Manager and supervisors.
• Ensure workers are trained to operate equipment safely.
• Follow procedures to ensure safety and prevent equipment damage.
