Job description

Exciting Opportunity: Underground Electrician Bradshaw Mine, Timmins, ON

Dumas is a leading full-service underground mining contractor providing services to clients throughout the Americas. We specialize in mine construction, mine development, production mining, mine services, and engineering.

Technical Competencies

• Thorough knowledge of all safety, health, and environmental regulations as they pertain to the work and workplace.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Ability to install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Ability to test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Modules.
• Ontario Hardrock Mining Supervisory Common Core or equivalent experience.
• Electrical Red Seal Journeyman certification.
• 5 years u/g electrical experience.
• Outstanding safety record.
