Dumas Contracting Ltd. is seeking a Development Miner for the Bell Creek project. The role involves underground development activities including drilling, blasting, scaling and installing ground support, using equipment like jumbos, bolters, and scoops.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of underground mining experience, preferably in development.
• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.
• Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and confined environments.
• Excellent safety record and commitment to safe work practices.

About The Role

As a Development Miner with Dumas, you will perform underground development activities such as drilling, blasting, scaling, and installing ground support. You’ll operate and maintain equipment like jumbos, bolters, and scoops, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and conducting routine checks and maintenance.
