Job summary

Dumas Contracting Inc. is hiring a Development Miner for the Galleon Gold -West Cache Gold Project in Timmins, Ontario. You will perform underground development tasks, operate jumbos, bolters and scoops, and uphold safety protocols across 12-hour shifts on a 14/14 rotation.

Required are at least 2 years of underground development experience, a valid Ontario Common Core certification, and solid blasting knowledge. Competitive wage and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.
• Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground development activities including drilling, blasting, scaling, and installing ground support.
• Operate and maintain mining equipment such as jumbos, bolters, and scoops.
• Ensure compliance with Dumas and site safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
• Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership

Position: Development Miner

Project: Galleon Gold -West Cache Gold Project

Rotation: 14/14

Shift: 12 Hour shifts

Wage: $67.00 - $81.50/HR

Potential Renumeration: KPI / Retention Bonus – Referral Bonus

About the Role:
