Job summary

PFG is hiring a Loss Prevention Officer for our Edmonton locations. You’ll work undercover in plain clothes on the sales floor to identify risks, prevent loss, and protect company assets while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

You will perform security audits, conduct arrests and asset recoveries, and document evidence with clear reports, all while adhering to policies and maintaining professionalism with the public and law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Must hold AB Security Worker's Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to go the extra mile.
• AST certification is an asset.
• Second language ability is an asset.
• Open availability is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain undercover, plain-clothes presence on the sales floor.
• Conduct discreet observations to identify theft, fraud, and mischief.
• Approach situations with a customer-first mindset.
• Maintain professionalism with the public, staff, and law enforcement.
• Conduct security audits of building and assets.
• Arrests, asset recoveries, and safety enforcement.
