Job summary

Cambridge Memorial Hospital seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform abdominal, OB/Gyn, vascular, MSK and small parts scans and support interventional procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires CMRITo registration, with 2+ years of ultrasound experience preferred. Applicants must be reliable with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work days/evenings, including weekends.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills are essential.

Job Description

Salary Range:$36.84 - $51.77

Position Summary:

As a key member of the Diagnostic Imaging team, the Ultrasound Technologist will perform abdominal, OB/Gyn, Vascular, MSK and Small Parts Scans and assist for interventional procedures. The successful incumbent will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and bending. This is a Full Time position to work days and evenings, including weekend day and evening shifts. Other duties as per job fact sheet.

Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of current Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills essential.
  • Experience in MSK and Vascular an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required
