Job summary

Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) invites an Ultrasound Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging team. You will perform abdominal, OB/Gyn, vascular, MSK and small parts scans, assisting with interventional procedures while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

The role requires CM RITO registration, a minimum of two years of ultrasound experience, strong interpersonal skills, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of current Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Experience in MSK and Vascular is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work regularly is required.

Job Description

Salary Range:$36.84 - $51.77

Position Summary:

As a key member of the Diagnostic Imaging team, the Ultrasound Technologist will perform abdominal, OB/Gyn, Vascular, MSK and Small Parts Scans and assist for interventional procedures. The successful incumbent will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and bending. This is a casual position to work days and evenings, including weekend day and evening shifts. Other duties as per job fact sheet.

Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of current Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills essential.
  • Experience in MSK and Vascular an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to attendwork on a regular basis is required
